Summary of review and consultation process

Targeted consultation was carried out with the Poultry Industry Association New Zealand (PIANZ) in June 2024 to determine if the qualifications were fit for purpose and if any changes were required.

Feedback from the targeted consultation indicated that the current set of qualifications met industry needs. Even though there are currently no programmes leading to the qualifications, industry would like to retain them for future use.

Main changes resulting from the review process

For both qualifications:

· Qualification documents were transferred to the current template.

· Minor updates were made for currency included qualification award, consistency and general conditions for programmes.

· Programme endorsement information was added.

· Review and transition dates were set.
