Registration of Ecological Management skill standards

 

Toi Mai Workforce Development Council has developed two new skill standards to be listed in the Ecological Management domain.

Summary

 

These skill standards were developed in response to industry feedback which identified a need for training and credentials for people considering entry-level roles in conservation.  Development of these standards was carried out with industry practitioners throughout 2024 and 2025.  Feedback was obtained through open consultation on Toi Mai’s website and incorporated conservation into the draft skill standards. Feedback received was reviewed and incorporated into the draft skill standards.
