Summary of development/review and consultation process |
|
Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics Workforce Development Council commenced the review of the New Zealand Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices qualifications listed above in July 2024. The review was to ensure the qualification continued to be fit-for-purpose for industry and make necessary changes where required. Industry, Providers, and subject matter experts provided the feedback and input required for this review. A consultation survey was sent to industry stakeholders seeking feedback on the proposed changes to the Competitive Systems and Practices qualifications. The response was limited but indicated support for the new qualifications to replace the current qualifications. |

New Zealand Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices (Level 3) [Ref: 2998] To be expired. Replacement qualification: New Zealand Certificate in Operational Excellence (Competitive Systems and Practices) (Level 3) [Ref: 5250-1] - Title changed to operational excellence for a more recognisable qualification. - Graduate profile outcomes (GPO) reviewed and reworded to align to the new title wording. - Strategic purpose statement reviewed and updated to include the definition of operational excellence. - Transition information updated.
