Summary
A review of Competitive Systems and Practices qualifications between July and December 2024, in consultation with industry representatives and providers during online Technical Advisory Group (TAG) meetings, identified that a new skill standard was required. It was developed to fill a gap identified by the industry to focus on waste concepts. These are concepts linked to lean manufacturing and productivity in the workplace.
