Summary

 

Unit standard 18935 was reviewed in October 2024 as part of the required review cycle.  The unit standard was considered not-fit-for-purpose and required amending to better reflect the needs of industry. Industry, providers and subject matter experts provided feedback and input into the review of this unit standard. This was achieved through online meetings and sharing documents and feedback via email.

 

Main changes

·      The unit standard level was changed from 3 to 4 to more correctly reflect the complexity of content.

·      Guidance information and performance criteria were updated for currency.

·      The title was updated to reflect Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) more clearly.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B standard is December 2025
