Summary

 

This early review was held to bring review dates into line with outdoor recreation qualifications and other outdoor recreation unit standards.  The review process involved a provider and industry hui held in March 2024, followed by both targeted and open consultation from August to November 2024. It was agreed that the standards remain fit for purpose and align with the reviewed outdoor recreation qualifications. Minor changes were made to update guidance information.

 

Main changes

 

·      Guidance Information was updated, including safety guidelines and industry codes.

·      The Standard Setting Body was changed from Skills Active to Toi Mai Workforce Development Council.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2026
