|
In 2024, Muka Tangata undertook sector consultation about the New Zealand Certificate in Artificial Insemination of Livestock (Level 4). The qualification is offered by one provider. The provider and industry representatives from the wider sector indicated that they were aware of no significant issues with the qualification structure or content. It was determined fit for purpose. Muka Tangata has scheduled a reduced timeframe of December 2028 for the next review. This will align the qualification review schedule with the review of relevant unit standards in dairy, equine, and porcine artificial insemination. |

There were no substantial changes resulting from the review. Minor changes we made for currency. A reference to the Biosecurity Act 2015 was corrected to refer to the Biosecurity Act 1993. |
