Summary of review and consultation process

Waihanga Ara Rau, representatives from the concrete industry, and the provider reviewed the New Zealand Certificate in Concrete Production (Level 4) from March to April 2025. The qualification review was the scheduled five-yearly review.

The advisory group with representatives from the concrete industry and the provider gave feedback and confirmed the qualification remains fit for purpose.

This feedback informed the qualification review outcome and only minor changes were made to update the qualification content.

Consultation documents and information about the review were published on the Waihanga Ara Rau Workforce Development Council Website throughout the review period.

Main changes resulting from the development/review process

No changes were made to the Graduate Profile. Minor changes to the qualification specifications and transition information were made to amend the general conditions and to reflect changes to dates and version.
