Summary

These unit standards have been reviewed alongside the review of the New Zealand Certificate in Equine Coaching (Level 3) [Ref: 2372], New Zealand Certificate in Equine Coaching (Level 4) with strands in Dressage, Eventing, and Jumping [Ref: 2373], New Zealand Certificate in Equine (Therapeutic Riding - Assistant Coach) (Level 3) [Ref: 2378], and the New Zealand Certificate in Equine (Therapeutic Riding - Coach) (Level 4) [Ref: 2379]. The standards are considered fit for purpose. Though some unit standards have not yet been used, providers have expressed intentions to offer standards based programmes leading to Equine qualifications in the future. Therefore, these unit standards have been retained without modification, to remain available for selection in future programmes.
