The NZQA Maori Qualifications Services has developed the skill standards listed above.

Summary

 

As a result of the planned standards review cycle, Māori Qualifications Services in conjunction with the Whakaruruhau reviewed the Environment Māori unit standards and developed fourteen new Environment Māori skill standards (Domains - Māori Environmental Management, Māori Environmental Practices). They have been developed to meet the aspirations and needs of ākonga, as well as whānau, hapū, and iwi.

 

Main changes

·         14 new Environment Māori skill standards developed (40518, 40519, 40520 – 40531) to replace 14 unit standards set to expire December 2027

 

Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2027.
