Muka Tangata – People, Food and Fibre Workforce Development Council has registered the Livestock Husbandry skill standard listed below.

Summary

Muka Tangata has consulted with hoof care specialists, veterinary specialists, and representatives from the dairy industry and providers to develop a skill standard and micro-credential in hoof trimming for cattle.  Development meetings took place July to August 2025.
