Summary of the republication and consultation process |
|
In response to requests from Tertiary Education Providers, the last date of assessment (LDA) of superseded version 1 of this qualification has been extended to support continuity of delivery and enable learners to complete their programmes. Version 2 of this qualification is scheduled for review in 2026. This extension provides time for providers to engage with the 2026 qualification review and address implementation challenges related to Version 2. All providers were consulted via the NZQA website and email. |

The last date of assessment for superseded Version 1 of New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2) [Ref: 2862] has been extended from 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2026. It is anticipated that no existing learners will be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements.
