Registration of Generic Infrastructure Works skill standards
Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has developed the 10 skill standards listed below.

Summary
10 skill standards were developed in response to industry feedback, which identified a need for training and credentials for streetscape paving. These standards will be set into a new qualification, the New Zealand Certificate in Streetscape Paving (Level 4) [Ref: 5456].
Development of these standards was carried out with industry throughout 2025. Consultation was conducted through online meetings, targeted emails and open consultation on Waihanga Ara Rau’s website. Feedback received was reviewed and incorporated into the draft skill standards.
