Summary of republication and consultation process |
|
Representatives from the scaffolding industry and providers requested an extension to the Last Date of Assessment for superseded version 1 of all qualifications listed above. The request was based on allowing sufficient time for current learners to complete learning and assessment as well as providers a reasonable amount of time for the redevelopment of programmes, teaching, and assessment resources. This is not expected to be completed before the current last date of assessment of 31 December 2025. This date has now been extended to 31 December 2027. An industry advisory group has been established to review the above qualifications during 2025. This extension ensures providers can continue to deliver existing programmes until new versions and/or replacement qualifications are listed following the review. This extension is supported by the Scaffolding, Access and Rigging New Zealand (SARNZ). |
