Summary of republication and consultation process |
|
The automotive qualifications above were reviewed in October 2022. They were republished in September 2024 to extend the last date for assessment of superseded versions. Programmes are currently delivered under superseded versions. Development of programmes leading to the current versions has not progressed due to delays associated with sector restructuring, and no programmes are approved for current versions. To ensure continuity of delivery and avoid disruption for learners currently enrolled in versions 1 or 2, the last date of assessment has been extended from 31 October 2026 to 31 December 2027. This extension supports uninterrupted learner progression and allows time for programme development aligned to sector needs. This extension is supported by stakeholders in the automotive engineering industry. |
