Summary

Following the review and development of leadership qualifications, Ringa Hora WDC has developed 11 skill standards to align with the New Zealand Certificate in Leadership (Level 3) [Ref: 5304], and New Zealand Certificate in Leadership (Level 4) [Ref: 5306].  These standards were developed to align with the graduate profile outcomes of these qualifications but are designed with transferrable competencies and can be used towards programmes and credentials with leadership components.

The development of the skill standards took place between July 2024 - May 2025 in consultation with various industry, tertiary education organisations, Māori and Pacific representation, tangata whaikaha, and other Workforce Development Councils.
