Summary

The last date of assessment of the superseded versions of this unit standard was extended from 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2027 to enable current learners to complete the New Zealand Certificate in Civil Engineering Laboratory (Level 5) with strands in Aggregate, Asphalt, Bitumen, Concrete, Field Investigations, and Soil [Ref: 2693-2].  Industry supports the rollover of this standard as it is still fit for purpose and is needed for learners to complete the qualification.  The qualification review scheduled for December 2025 has been postponed to December 2027 and will be overseen by the relevant Industry Skills Board.
