Summary of review and consultation process |
|
An issue with the qualification structure was identified by the key stakeholder during programme development. This was due to the recent changes that had occurred within the industry requiring the training of ab initio learners into both area control and approach control. The qualification title, requirements for the qualification, programme conditions and graduate profile outcome conditions were amended to allow for students to enrol in a qualification in either disciplines of Area Surveillance or Approach Surveillance. |

Main changes resulting from the review |

Qualification structure changed to include contexts and title updated to reflect this. Minor updates were made to the Strategic Purpose statement, and Education and Employment pathways. General Conditions for programme were updated to identify the contexts the qualification could be achieved in. GPO1 Condition was updated to allow for either context to be achieved. |
