Summary of review and consultation process |
Toi Mai Workforce Development Council reviewed these qualifications in November 2025. It was identified that these qualifications have no providers and had no completions since their development in 2019. Feedback on proposed expiry of the qualifications was sought from stakeholder organisations and also through open public consultation via the Toi Mai website. Through this, one new provider advised they intended to start delivering these qualifications. The qualifications were reviewed to ensure they remained fit for purpose. Responsibility for these qualifications has been transferred from Toi Mai to the Electrotechnology and Information Technology Industry Skills Board to reflect the VET reforms.

Main changes resulting from the review |

New Zealand Diploma in Performing Arts Teaching (Level 6) [Ref: 3435] · Minor changes were made to Strategic Purpose statement. · Changes were made to GPO statements to include a focus on advanced teaching pedagogy, rather than just teaching advanced performance. · Updates made to programme guidance including legislation and diversity and inclusion. |
