Food and Fibre Industry Skills Board has registered two skill standards and reviewed the unit standard listed above.

Summary
Muka Tangata People, Food, and Fibre Workforce Development Council consulted with representatives from the dairy industries and tertiary education providers to support the development of skill standards and micro-credentials in the raising of young livestock, as part of the wider Agriculture Qualification Development Project.
The technical advisory group met fortnightly between March and May 2025, developing the skill standards and micro-credentials to ensure the products meet current and future workforce needs.
Representatives from small ruminant dairy sectors were also consulted to ensure the products are suitable for learners in these industries. Feedback from this consultation informed refinements to the Level 3 skill standards and micro-credentials.
Responsibility for these standards was transferred from Muka Tangata WDC to the ISB as a result of the VET reforms.
Main changes
· Skill standards 41267 and 41268 were developed to meet industry and learner needs for this skill set.
· Unit standard 32091 was expired.
Category D standard will expire at the end of December 2028
