The Muka Tangata – People Food and Fibre Workforce Development Council has reviewed the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

Muka Tangata Workforce Development Council completed the review of standards listed above in October 2025 after consultation with industry experts and support from key stakeholders across the wool harvesting sector. This case was transferred from Muka Tangata WDC to Food and Fibre Industry Skills Board to reflect VET reforms.

 

Main changes

 

·     Eight unit standards have been expired due to no or very little usage in five years.

·     Unit standard 20103 credit has been reduced as directed by industry to correctly reflect the 30 learning hours needed to achieve the stated outcomes.

 

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2027

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standard is December 2027
