Energy and Infrastructure Industry Skills Board has completed the rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above.

Date new versions published                                                                                                  February 2026

Planned review date                                                                                               December 2028

Summary

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council identified a group of unit standards that was due or overdue for review.  In order to allow time for the standard setting body to develop replacement skill standards, rollover and revision of the standards was proposed.  Any standards which required review because of stakeholder feedback were removed from the process.

The proposal was communicated by email to stakeholders, and no feedback was received.  The standards are fit for purpose. The above standards have been transferred from Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure WDC to Energy and Infrastructure Industry Skills Board to reflect the intent of VET reforms.

Main changes

·     Guidance information was updated so that it is consistent across the suite.

·     The next review date was set at 31 December 2028.

·     Performance criteria for unit standards 19477 and 32171 were updated.

·     Title of Unit 10538 was updated to align with the singular Outcome.
