Energy and Infrastructure Industry Skills Board has completed the rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council identified a group of unit standards that was due or overdue for review.  In order to allow time for the standard setting body to develop replacement skill standards, rollover and revision of the standards was proposed. 

The proposal was communicated by email to stakeholders, and no feedback was received.  The standards are fit for purpose.

Main changes

· Guidance information was updated so that it is consistent across the suite.

· The next review date was set at 31 December 2028.

· Performance criterion 4.1 of unit standard 17027 was updated to include ‘face to face’ to allow it to be achieved in all contexts where this standard is assessed.

· Unit standard 30513 had a statement added to the guidance information to allow achievement of the standard where access to a live network is not possible. The similar statement in unit standard 17027 was amended to match unit standard 30513.

· Standard setting body details were updated from the WDC to the ISB to reflect the intent of the VET reforms.
