The NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has completed the rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
The standards were due for a review as part of their scheduled maintenance cycle. The review date was extended to allow the Ministry of Education to develop Pacific Studies for the new secondary school curricula. The subject lists are available on the Ministry of Education website, along with supporting information.
There are no changes to the classification, title, level, credits, criteria and outcome.
Main changes
· Unit standard 21320 has reduced number of persons to be interviewed from two to one.
· Unit standard 21322 has been designated to expire without replacement, due to lack of usage.
· Unit standards 26539 and 26540 outcomes have been updated to align with the titles.
· Guidance information for all listed standards has been reorganised, with no changes to content.
· The link to Assessment Support Materials, for unit standards in Pacific Change and Development, Pacific Indigenous Knowledge and Pacific Societies, has been updated.
· Definitions in unit standard 26539 have been alphabetically reordered.
· The planned review date has been extended from 31 December 2025 to 31 December 2030.
Category D unit standard will expire at the end of December 2027.
