|
Extensions to the last date of assessment (LDA) and last date of entry (LDE) for the New Zealand Certificate in Plastics Processing and New Zealand Certificate in Plastics Engineering are required to support the completion of workplace-based apprenticeships. The Manufacturing and Engineering Industry Skills Body (ISB) confirms that these qualifications remain fit for purpose and will continue to meet industry requirements. The extensions support an orderly transition of the replaced qualifications onto the replacement qualifications and provides sufficient time for programme development and implementation. |

Main changes resulting from the republication process |

Version 2 of the qualifications were republished. The LDA of the listed qualifications were extended from 31 December 2027 to 31 December 2028. The LDE of the listed qualifications were extended from 31 December 2026 to 31 December 2027. Standard setting body details updated from Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council to Manufacturing and Engineering Industry Skills Board. Evidence requirements for assuring consistency removed as no longer applicable. |
