Summary

 

Electrotechnology, Information Technology and Creative Industry Skills Board undertook analysis of the above Level 5 and Level 6 unit standards and identified that they are not being used and have never been awarded. Following both targeted consultation with providers and industry during June 2026, the decision was made to expire these unit standards as they no longer align with industry need. Responsibility for the standards was transferred from Toi Mai Workforce Development Council to the Electrotechnology, Information Technology and Creative Industry Skills Board to reflect the VET reforms.
