Summary of development/review and consultation process

The last date for assessment of version 2 of the qualifications listed above were extended following a request from the provider to enable learners to complete programmes leading to version 2 of these qualifications.

 

Main changes resulting from the development/review process

·        The last date for assessment of version 2 of the New Zealand Certificate in Aquatics (Senior Pool Lifeguard) (Level 4) [Ref: 3506] was extended from 31 December 2027 to 31 December 2028.  

·        The last date for assessment of version 2 of the New Zealand Certificate in Aquatics (Specialised Swim and Water Safety Teacher) (Level 4) with strands in Early Childhood Swimmers, Adult Swimmers, Adaptive Aquatics, and Stroke Mechanics [Ref: 3507] was extended from 31 December 2027 to 31 December 2028.  

·        The standard setting body was updated from Toi Mai Workforce Development Council to Services Industry Skills Board.
