Summary
The review was undertaken as part of the planned cycle of review of Māori Qualification Services unit standards at the end of 2025. MQS along with Whakaruruhau, reviewed the Whenua unit standards to ensure that they remain fit for purpose and meet the needs and aspirations of ākonga, whānau, hapū, iwi and hapori.
Main changes
· Minor wording changes have been made to guidance information, outcomes, performance criteria and range statements for relevancy, consistency and to provide clarity for kaiako and ākonga.
· Grammatical errors have been corrected.
· Titles of unit standards 15975, 15982, and 15922 have been updated.
· Credit value of unit standards 6145 and 15992 has been amended.
