What records must be kept?

  1. Documentation of needs analyses and decisions made must be kept:
    1. as part of the evidence of need and made available to NZQA in the case of an audit
    2. until they are no longer needed to support further applications for a candidate.
  2. Throughout the year, schools must keep detailed records of SAC provided, including any feedback from candidates or their teachers about their appropriateness and usefulness, and make them available to NZQA on request.
  3. Each year, a selection of schools will have their special assessment policies and procedures audited by the NZQA to determine if they are complying with these guidelines.
