Supported Learning assessment support material

Resources and guidance for this domain

The following assessment support materials were developed to support the previous versions of the Supported Learning Unit Standards. Assessors will need to modify activities and tasks to align with the new versions. Updates of these resources will be produced in due course.

The target learners for the standards are people with learning disabilities, including those with intellectual disabilities, who require some form of support with their learning, either through additional resources, specialised equipment or adapted teaching programmes.

These materials cover assessor guidelines and student guidelines, and contain general information, assessment tasks, and sample answers.

These resources are intended as a guide, and it is expected that assessors will adapt them in a way that is relevant to the context in which their assessment occurs.  These resources are not teaching plans.
