Supported Learning – Personal, Community and Work Skills Domain

The following Assessment Support Material (ASM) have been developed to support the current Supported Learning (SL) unit standards.

The target learners for the SL standards are people with learning disabilities, including those with intellectual disabilities, who require some form of support with their learning, either through additional resources, specialised equipment or adapted teaching programmes.

The ASM covers assessor guidelines and student guidelines, and contains general information, assessment tasks, and sample answers. These resources are intended as a guide, and it is expected that assessors will adapt them in a way that is relevant to the context in which their assessment occurs.  These resources are not teaching plans.
