Upcoming reviews
The next reviews of unit standards in the Adult Education and Training, and the Generic Education and Training subfields are scheduled to take place in 2021 and 2022. Where appropriate, these reviews will be informed by the review of relevant New Zealand qualifications which are being reviewed in 2020 (see below).

January 2017 – Review of Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education, Adult Education and Training and Generic education and Training unit standards

In 2016 and 2017, the standards contained in the Adult Education and Training and Generic Education and Training subfields were comprehensively reviewed. A key outcome of these reviews was to provide unit standards-based pathways into relevant New Zealand qualifications in Assessment Practice, Adult and Tertiary Teaching, and Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education.
