2018 – New Reo Māori Media unit standards
Details are available in the June 2018 New Reo Māori Media unit standards change report.
The new standards have been developed by the Reo Māori Media whakaruruhau to complement the existing suite of Reo Māori Media standards and to reflect the requirements and outcomes listed in the New Zealand Media qualifications.
August 2017 – Review of Reo Māori Media unit standards

The review of the Reo Māori Media unit standards began in March 2017 as part of their review cycle. The standards were reviewed and/or further developed by the Whakaruruhau to ensure that they are relevant and fit for purpose, and that their outcomes are achievable, coherent, and consistent with valid assessment practices.
