Review of Quality Management Unit Standards 2019

NZQA National Qualification Services invites feedback on the review of 18 standards in domain Quality Management.

The standards are being reviewed to maintain their currency, in collaboration with primary users of the standards and with people with personal and professional experience in quality management.

The major changes, in addition to the amended titles and credits above, include:

  • simplifying the standards into a single outcome without compromising the content
  • linking more explicitly to the relevant ISO standards for Quality Management.

Replaced unit standard:

Unit standard 8077, Participate in a team to achieve specified quality improvement objectives, is proposed to be formally replaced by current Communication Skills unit standard 9681, Contribute within a team or group which has an objective.

Unit standard 28190 is excluded from the review, as Skills Active ITO (info@skillsactive.org.nz) is the standard setter, not NZQA National Qualification Services.
