People credited with this unit standard are able to:
- describe factors and methods for determining water supply requirements in buildings;
- demonstrate knowledge of installing and supporting water supply pipework in buildings;
- demonstrate knowledge of the maintenance and repair of water supply pipework in buildings; and
- demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements, selection of methods and materials, and underpinning concepts and principles, as applied to the installation, supporting, and maintenance of water supply pipework in buildings.
