This is a theory based unit standard for people who require background information on the greyhound racing industry, or to inform a decision on career choice within the industry. People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the: national structure that governs greyhound racing within the New Zealand racing industry; the department structure that manages greyhound racing; Greyhound Racing New Zealand Rules of Racing and the New Zealand Greyhound; and roles of official staff on a greyhound raceday.
