This unit standard is intended for people employed in an establishment role in a forestry operation.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: explain factors which impact on the choice of method for releasing plantation trees; demonstrate knowledge of legislation and sources of information relating to the handling and use of agrichemicals; demonstrate knowledge of agrichemical toxicity; and demonstrate knowledge of weather tolerances in agrichemical use.
