People credited with this unit standard are able to prepare farm dairy and yards for milking; get a dairy flock in for milking; milk dairy sheep; isolate milk and sheep unsuitable for collection, and follow hygiene practices as directed by a supervisor; and clean farm dairy and yards after milking, and set up for next milking.
