People credited with this unit standard are able to: wash the horse; trim the horse''s mane, forelock, tail, stray hairs and areas of long hair in a manner that causes least discomfort for the horse; plait the mane and present the horse''s tail; finish the horse to enhance its general appearance; and remove plaits and brush out mane and tail.
