People credited with this unit standard are able to: apply knowledge of specific care and safety requirements to operate a gantry vehicle; load a gantry bin from the ground onto a gantry vehicle and secure the bin for travel; unload waste from a gantry bin and complete the relevant documentation; and place a gantry bin from a gantry vehicle on the ground and prepare the vehicle for travel.
