| This unit standard is for people working in the sports turf industry. People credited with this unit standard are, for cricket blocks, able to demonstrate understanding of: the playing surface requirements of a cricket pitch; the in-season maintenance requirements of a cricket block; the renovation of, and out-of-season maintenance procedures for, a cricket block; the fertiliser requirements; and the management of common weeds, pests, and diseases of a cricket block. | |||||||||
