This unit standard is for people who intend to obtain testing or issuing officer registration for NZTA/NZRF T8 Certificates and who meet with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency criteria.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate knowledge of roadmarking paint applicators and the current requirements for testing them; prepare documentation for NZTA/NZRF T8 testing; inspect roadmarking applicators and evaluate non-painting operations; evaluate roadmarking paint applicators using specified measurement methods; conduct NZTA/NZRF T8 tests on roadmarking paint applicators; and document NZTA/NZRF T8 tests and results.
