People credited with this unit standard are able to: describe the intention and coverage of the HSWA; demonstrate knowledge of duties and responsibilities for health and safety in the workplace; outline the legally required health and safety systems in the workplace; and demonstrate knowledge of the administration and enforcement requirements of the HSWA.
