People credited with this unit standard are able to:
- explain the legislative requirements for scaffolding in the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015;
- complete scaffolding industry health and safety risk management documentation;
- demonstrate knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the scaffolding industry;
- interpret legislative requirements that relate to public protection in the scaffolding industry; and
- interpret and apply health and safety legislative requirements to the inspection of scaffolding equipment.
