This unit standard is intended for persons studying towards a qualification in vessel operation with the intention of applying for a Maritime New Zealand license.
People credited with this unit standard are able to describe the requirements of the MOSS and how it applies to the operation of a vessel; and apply legal requirements to the operation of a restricted limits vessel.
