People credited with this unit standard are, at an extractive site, able to: demonstrate knowledge of the principles of operation of aerial ropeways and of safety procedures for operation of aerial ropeways; operate a coal in-feed; operate a ropeway to convey coal; operate a discharge station; and perform safety procedures for stockpiling and reclaiming. | |||||||||
