This unit standard is for people working or intending to work in the amenity turf industry.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: identify weed groups found in amenity turf areas and describe the typical effects of weeds on amenity turf; demonstrate understanding of indicators of common amenity turf diseases and disorders; demonstrate understanding of symptoms of common amenity turf pest damage in turf; and demonstrate understanding of methods of prevention and/or control of amenity turf pests, diseases, and weeds.
