This unit standard is intended for people who ride thoroughbred racehorses on training tracks.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: ride a thoroughbred racehorse at fastwork as instructed by the trainer on a public training track; pull the horse up after the workout, and return to the trainer; and provide a verbal report to the trainer on the way the horse completed the workout.
