This unit standard is for people who wish to self-supervise when crossing identified bridges with overweight vehicles as required by Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency''s Overweight Permit Self Supervision special conditions.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of: overweight permits for overweight vehicles; the location of the vehicle on the trip route and the location of bridges using road and bridge location markers; and describe the supervision of overweight vehicles when crossing bridges.
