This unit standard is for fire fighters who will be involved in aircraft emergency response. It specifically applies to Airports at Category 5 or below.
People credited with this unit standard are able to:
. demonstrate knowledge of features of light aircraft that relate to fire and rescue operations; and
. carry out emergency shut down procedures for light aircraft.
