- demonstrate knowledge of the significance and purpose of plan documents in the context of a plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying project;
- interpret building plans and specifications in a plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying context;
- interpret plans and drawings for plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying jobs;
- use plans and job specifications to determine requirements for a plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying task; and
- demonstrate knowledge of managing variations and amendments.
